We organize our own and promote other venues, throughout North America, to showcase Chinese films. CCE is actively engaged in hosting many directors, actors, technicians, executives and other artists relative to the film industry from China. Since our first showcase in 1998 we have invited over 50 filmmakers to North America and made them available for a variety of film events. These artists participate in post screening discussions, seminars, workshops and personal appearances while they are here. The films listed in this catalogue represent the largest collection of high quality modern and classic films made in Mainland China after 1949. Produced primarily for the domestic Chinese market these films are rarely if ever seen in the West. As such they represent an important and unique point of view chronicling the history, art, culture and progress of modern China.

Each film has been mastered from the original 35mm film negative, translated and subtitled by CCE. Every title is available, exclusively through CCE, in North America for 35mm exhibition, video projection in professional formats as well as VHS, DVD and other consumer formats.

CCE makes available for sale this entire catalogue, on any video format, in whole or in part, with internal or public performance rights, to libraries, public or private, schools and cultural institutions. CCE offers knowledgeable staff to assist in creating suitable curricula with our library for individuals or organizations in need of assistance.
