In 1925, Mao Zedong returns to his hometown to encourage the peasants to prepare for the coming revolution. Working with his family and close friends he grew up with, Mao successfully promotes his socialist programs in the countryside. The struggle against the oppression of the local landlords strengthens their belief and faith in the CCP. The political force that eventually spread throughout China like wildfire.
