In the early 1990s, the Shanghai stock market is skyrocketing. A man from Hong Kong convinces an ordinary bus conductor to help him to buy stocks. The woman's good understanding of numbers and people makes both of them a lot of money. Her ability does not go unnoticed by her neighbors who convince her to help them invest. Will she earn money this time?

This story is a roller coaster wide of the boom and bust mentality in a run-away bull market. Needless to say fortunes are won and lost, hearts are broken and lessons learned. A thoroughly enjoyable comedy!
